Luckily in Washington no one goes out to wait in a line for 5 days for a system when it is pooring rain. I jumped in line at 7pm last Wednesday for the PS3 and I was #2 in line at a local Walmart. Waited 5 hours till the line was full (20 people) Manager and Employees handed out tickets and told us to come back in 24 hours or we'd miss out on our PS3s. Anyhow I got my PS3 home last Friday opened that sucker up programed it and I love it! I love being able to play the Multiplayer games online for free and the Menu is so easy to Navigate since it's the nearly the same as the PSP. When I first got it I was using my old PSone S-video cable and the next morning I went out and bought the $60 PS3 HDMI Cable and noticed a really big jump in the graphics on Marvel Ultimate Alliance. At first it looked like the same old X-men Legends for PS2... but when I plugged in that HDMI cable and set it for 1080i.... OMG I noticed it. it was more defined and it almost looked as if I was moving Cartoon Characters or something. Anyhow the PS3 totally blows the casing off a 360 and I'm probably going to sell my xbox now.

The PS3 and I spent some quality time together over the weekend and it has met my expectations (the new working one and not the broken one!) Ridge Racer 7 is solid and Resistance: Fall of Man is a worthy FPS that can sell systems. Blu-ray is also very nice on the HDTV. The worst part of the PS3 experience is the dull file system interface. It doesn't compliment the functions of the system and operates more like an Excel spreadsheet.
